The TS870 Automatic Transfer Switch is a versatile solution designed to ensure uninterrupted power fo critical operations whilst adapting to changing system demands. Its open-transition system prevents out-of-phase transfers, while optional configurations like Closed Transition Transfer, Bypass Isolation, and Service Entrance enhance flexibility for diverse applications. Designed for resilience, it empowers critical systems to remain operational even amidst power disruptions.
TS 870 Automatic Transfer Switches employ two mechanically interlocked power switching units with an Advanced ATS Controller to automatically start a generator and transfer system load to a generator supply in the event of a utility supply failure. System load is then automatically re-transferred back to the utility supply following restoration of the utility power. Typical load transfer sequences are “Open Transition” (i.e., break-before-make) with adjustable neutral position delay to ensure adequate voltage delay for preventing out of phase transfers.
